Overview
What is CryoClear?
CryoClear is an advanced cryotherapy device that uses precisely controlled freezing temperatures to eliminate common skin imperfections including skin tags and dark spots (seborrheic keratoses). The procedure uses a targeted pen-like applicator that delivers nitrous oxide to the specific area, freezing the tissue rapidly. Treatment takes approximately 10 minutes in total - each target receives 30–40 seconds of freeze time. CryoClear is painless, leaves no scarring, and requires no downtime. Approximately 90% of clients experience complete resolution of their treated skin concern after the initial treatment.

The Process
How It Works
CryoClear delivers a controlled burst of nitrous oxide through a precision tip that freezes the targeted skin cell cluster at temperatures as low as -89°C. This rapid freezing causes ice crystals to form within the cells, destroying them. The body then naturally reabsorbs the destroyed tissue over the following 1–3 weeks. As the area heals, the treated spot will first darken, then form a small scab, before revealing healthy pink tissue beneath. The entire healing process typically completes within 2–6 weeks, leaving clear, smooth skin.

Candidacy
Ideal Candidates
CryoClear is suitable for removing small to medium skin tags (1–5 mm) and dark spots (5–10 mm). It is not suitable for moles that have irregular borders, multiple colors, or are changing in appearance - these require medical evaluation. If you are unsure whether a lesion is appropriate for CryoClear treatment, consult a dermatologist first.
Recovery
Aftercare
The treated area will darken and may form a small scab within 1–3 days - do not pick or scratch it. Keep the area clean and apply a gentle moisturizer. Avoid prolonged sun exposure to the treated area during healing. Full healing and final results are visible within 2–6 weeks.
